I found Arctic Cooling by accident. It was a discontinued product at 30% off. Amazingly, it works much better than many of the “good” fans!

Being annoyed by so many loud fans, I found AC PWM a bless. I ordered from Amazon as the local store doesn’t have any left.

The PWM fan is supposed to work with the main CPU fan to provide synced cooling. No complain there.

However, the amount of air it moved is stlightly on the low side. It is still alot to move, just not enough comparing to some other fans. Well, other fans are not that quiet though!

The “loudness” rating of this fan leads me no where. Roughly I think it is less than 10dB.

Cheap, quiet, nice looking PWM fan is the choice for everybody!

I was trying to change the fan for my cooler master HTX3 as i found out that the factory fan was very noisy.
Searching for a quiet fan, i ran onto this one.
This fans runs at 1800rpm max which is less than the fan from the HTX3. The decrease in fan speed made my cpu increase the temp by 3ºC which is not much. However the decrease in sound is like 1/3 of the cooler master’s and thats AWESOME!!
The noisiest part of my pc now is the video card fan, which now ive decided to change for the arctic Accelero twin turbo pro.
The only complaint i have is the manual which is not very clear, i had problems when connecting the pwm fans together
as the fans got 3 connections
    A) 4 pin female which goes into the motherboard or fan speed controller
    B) 4 pin male which helps to connect up to 5 fans
    C) 3 pin female (which i didnt know you had to connect at the B connector so your motherboard recognizes it properly)

If you are looking for a quiet, nice looking and cheap fan… go for these ones!! 100% silent!!

I have extremely good ears (no joke, it’s really annoying sometimes) and I can barely hear this fan until it gets into the 70% or higher (1450+ rpm) range. Beyond that the noise will ramp up, but so does the CFM.

I have this fan attached to a CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 (the 212′s 92mm little brother) because I wanted adequate cooling in a smaller solution that is ALSO quiet. It does the job keeping the heat of my PII 965 BE in the 40s at idle and in the 50s under load.

For the price, I think it’s pretty darn good. No frills or LEDs, but that’s not what I ordered or paid for. In addition, the wiring is designed so that you can daisy chain several of these fans (has to be this model) together on one PWM mobo header, as detailed in the stark instructions. Just be careful you don’t overload it. I can’t see this working/reaching if the fans are at different case locations, but two of these in a push-pull on a CPU cooler would work perfect. Otherwise, the length of the wires is pretty decent, if a little messy
